Journal of Information Technology issues call for papers on 'Financialization and Information Technology'

We are pleased to present this call for papers for a special issue, edited by Wendy L. Currie and Thomas Lagoarde-Segot, that will discuss the link between financialization and information technology, situating examples of the numerous financial market innovations and technologies such as: automated trading, securitization, and high frequency and algorithmic trading.

The latest edition of the Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports® has been published, and we are pleased to announce that the new Impact Factor for Journal of Information Technology is 3.789, rising from 3.532 last year. The journal's 5-year Impact Factor has risen to 4.917 from 3.801 last year. We congratulate the journal's editorial team and contributors for this impressive growth in citation performance!
